Wake up and Get Real !

                                                        It takes time getting to know oneself . Especially if you tended to ignore all the things about yourself that make you , you . You have been very disrespectful to yourself too , you have abused your body in so many ways , and haven't given a damn about it either . You have explained it away by just saying that that's what you do when you're growing up and taking care and stock of yourself will come later . But for now its party time and anything goes , there will be time enough to worry and get serious when you've wasted yourself enough . Sound familiar ? It should do , its you me and every one of us who has grown up with an attitude of live now pay later . Sure we may die and if we do there will be nothing to pay , only the fare to the grim reaper .
                                                       Do we actually treat ourselves with so much disrespect ?  Have we gone past the stage of actually being serious to ourselves ? Or does it just not matter any more ? I can understand how easy it is to fall into that trap of apathy . I can understand the need for liberation in everything we do . But when  does this apathy and ignorance of our responsibility stop ? When do we actually start being a caring individual ? I have my own theories on that , and it involves experience of life . It also involves how close you actually get to certain people and their influence . Its no secret that while you continue to grow , your vision of life can be impaired if you haven't experienced some deep meaningful occurrence that stops you in your tracks , that makes you take stock . I firmly believe you have to experience want , you have to experience loss , and most of all you have to experience need .
                                                      The generation of today have been blinded by their parents into thinking that money really does grow on trees . Like you're sitting there with twenty euro in your purse and your teenage son asks for fifty euro so he can go and play a football match down the other end of the country . This has to be got at all costs , you don't want to disappoint him now , do you ? So you move heaven and earth to give him what YOU
