Please Yourself !
From a personal perspective its difficult when you want to express evenly and openly about things that effect you . You get to your teens and you are invincible , all powerful and untouchable . You hopefully survive this , and start to get maybe a little concientious about your development and future .
Now this is the hard part , choosing which way to go , choosing which job you might excel at . Difficult decisions , and in a lot of cases having to choose from only what is available . Not always finding possibilities in areas you might excel at . Lord knows we have all heard of people who have so many qualifications that when applying for a job they are told you are simply over qualified ! What a kick in the teeth , when you have worked so hard to be told there was no need for you to break your back studying , because the only jobs available are in Burger Bars ,or maybe computer companies doing manual work for a basic wage . Oh and by the way you're told you will be required to work 12 hour shifts , 8am-8pm , and 8pm-8am . This sort of thing is just happening too frequently, and its hard to even try and understand the feelings of these people who have no choice but to work in this manner .
This is the down side to austerity , not that there is an upside ! Many companies , all household names , are into rationalisation , another way of saying machines and robots are gonna do your job in future . So when choosing which path to take , try and be as objective as you can be , and don't be afraid to ask for advice . But importantly , do please yourself and not someone else !
