Merchants of Plymouth Rock !

                                                         Thanksgiving day is coming up soon in the U.S.A . This year it will be celebrated on the 27th November and on Thursday as always . This according to the traditions is a time of reflection and sharing , and coming together of families so they can give thanks for their happiness and position . In some ways Thanksgiving is more important a festival than Christmas is to some Americans .
                                                         Though we would all like our family get togethers to pass peacefully and happily , sometimes there's just no way to avoid issues that sometimes are hidden and have been hidden for many many years . And it takes just one wrong word , just one suggestion , just one thought to raise the ugly head of previous sibling rivalry .
                                                         I love those type of movies , be it someone's funeral , someone's bar mitzvah , someone's wedding , when all hell breaks loose . No one's to blame , it wasn't anything that wasn't  expected anyway , it was just as it always is something that was bound to happen .
                                                        This Thursday the 27th November , enjoy your festival , give thanks as you should , but spare a thought for the Native Americans also . The ones who still protest on Thanksgiving Day and have done every year since 1970 . Its organised by the United American Indians of New England (UAINE).
                                                         When asked when these demonstrations will end , the Co-Leader of  UAINE  replied
, when the merchants of Plymouth Rock are no longer making millions of dollars off the blood of our slaughtered ancestors , when we can act as a Sovereign Nation on our own land , when homeless people have homes and no child goes  to bed hungry , then and only then will we stop our demonstrations !
No need to examine or analyze me , I am Well Beyond That !

                                                                    In the huge scheme of things we live our lives in a way that has been somehow mapped out for us .  We wake every day and do the things that are expected to be done by others , but mostly by ourselves . Most of the time we are pleased by our efforts , and sometimes we just let ourselves down .
