You're getting old Man , You're not Dying !

                                                        I've just seen a post on when people reach their sixties and stuff , and found what it had to say so true . It said simply " Its better to be outrageous , than to be outrageously boring ! Never a truer word said , and I found it very pleasing as my wife and I enter our sixties .
                                                       When you start hitting the sixties all your inhibitions if you had any tend to stop influencing how you think . Couldn't do that is no longer an issue , Am too old to wear that is also not an issue . You see its really how you perceive yourself , and not how you want others to perceive you . If I wanna wear jeans & trainers so be it . If I want to wear a fedora . I'll do that also .
                                                      Some people tend to think , well I've reached this time of my life , and I should portray an image of myself fitting with my age . Fitting with your age is boring , fitting with your age is how you want other people to look at you and say very clean and tidy . very boring in other words .
                                                      So if you are the type of person who is already out there , do not let age stop you staying that way . You will always get criticism maybe from friends or family saying , now don't you think you're a bit old for that ? Act your age not your shoe size ! They're not worried about your feelings , but their own and how it reflects on them as your family or friends .
                                                      In conclusion , be brave enough to want colour surrounding you , and not black and white . Be brave enough to want happy music surrounding you instead of maybe Celine Dion or Leonard Cohen . Give someone like Pharrel Williams or maybe Daft Punk a chance and open the eyes and ears of discovery once more . You're getting old man , you're not dying !
