I Will Always Be Available !

                                                   This morning I woke up very worried ! You see with Christmas just around the corner I started thinking about Santa Claus . Now I know he has been on his sabbatical for a while , and of course now he's basically up to his eyes . Its always like this and to be honest his legend and appearance on Christmas Eve and well in to Christmas morning is now a well known FACT ! Now I guess you're wondering why I highlighted fact .
                                                  Well its very simple , there's a lot of parents out there that , rather than get their children upset at the fact their children will grow old enough not to believe in Santa Claus , they would rather not expose them to his EXISTENCE ! In other words deprive them of the magic that is Santa Claus , how very considerate of them ! How thoughtful of them wanting to keep their childrens minds safe from dreams of a man in a red suit coming down the chimney on Christmas eve . How brave of them for considering it in the first place .
                                                 I always ask myself the same question when I think of these parents , what made you so brave and considerate on their behalf . Santa knows that in a precious few years they will be too old to enjoy his presence at Christmas . BUT , AND THIS IS A BIG BUT , his existence will always remain a fact . Doesn't matter whether you believe in him , because I do , and always will . Sometimes he can be very generous , and then when there is an economic downturn , well he can be less generous through no fault of his own . Its just the way it is . But throughout the unhappiness that unemployment and poverty brings , Santa remains steady and smiling all the time .So do yourself a favour , no matter what you believe , your children and their children hopefully, will have no problem talking to this man in a red coat who has eaten too many mince pies , and drank too much sherry . They won't mind that he is fat , round , red faced and sports a big white beard . They won't mind that his best friends in the world are reindeers and little men with colourful little suits who sing songs all day . They in fact will love them so much so that they at any given time will dress up and impersonate them . And some of you want to deprive them of that ?
                                                 Santa you will always have my support , and if there comes a time when maybe it gets a little too strenuous for you , you know where you can come for some help ! I will always be available !

                                                                    In the huge scheme of things we live our lives in a way that has been somehow mapped out for us .  We wake every day and do the things that are expected to be done by others , but mostly by ourselves . Most of the time we are pleased by our efforts , and sometimes we just let ourselves down .
