Sorted on a Shoestring !

                                                Well only three hundred and sixty four more days to Christmas , better start planning soon , its gonna come up on you so fast you won't know what hit you . Actually if you think about it its not a bad idea . Firstly all your gifts would be at knock down prices , Christmas trees and decorations would be slashed , you could get a turkey & ham and just freeze the pair of them , there you go Christmas sorted on a shoestring .
                                                You may not believe it , but there's a lot of people out there who do exactly as I've described . There is no shame in savings , nothing to be embarrassed about in being prepared . Wouldn't be my cup of tea , but who are we to criticize ? One mans savings is another mans loss , so to speak
                                                So come on tell me , how well did you do ? Did you avoid all the pitfalls yesterday ? Has your waistline increased by two inches ? Was the inside of your head feeling  like a battering ram had just been launched from some hidden dungeon ploughing into the side of your temples this morning ? Or were you so very good , that you didn't abuse yourself with food and alcohol ? Either way if thats what you done , good luck to you .
                                                Am not really in the mood to converse , but am just allowing you an out if you need someone to talk to . Someone to listen to your gripes , someone to understand those reservations that have us all saying never again . I just over did it this year , and am paying for it right now , this will never happen again . Hello ! This is real people listening to your promises , so I know you lie to yourself about these things , but you're not fooling us !
I hope this wasn't the way you were feeling this morning !

Most of the time we are pleased by our efforts , and sometimes we just let ourselves down .
