The Price of Celebrity !

                                                         Someone becomes famous for no reason at all , you know the way it is . That someone is maybe a bit outrageous , a bit crazy maybe , has tourette syndrome , and swears a lot . So everyone is entertained by these physical or mental limitations on people . They are sent in to boot camps , live television shows , e.g Big Brother and carry on to their hearts content , doing what they do best . We start voting on their amusement value , some people even wager on the outcome of said shows . Then they start acting a little crazy , having been cooped up in some atrociously warm makeshift house in some warehouse somewhere .
                                                        They are charmed by the media and ourselves , idolised by some to such an extent people start looking like them , behaving like them , and eventually living like them . This is the price we pay for voyeurism , and really thats all it is ! You can try and call it entertainment , but the idea of selling one's soul for celebrity is a bit sick in the extreme .
                                                        Then what happens isn't very surprising , they have done their entertaining , they have been paid their dues , and they just disappear into oblivion . We have become tired of their excesses and told them quite frankly to just piss off , you're not wanted or needed any more . Its no wonder , later on in their pitiful lives , that they either abuse some substance , drink too much , or do something mischievous to themselves . This is the price of fame , this is the price of celebrity , this is the price of the monster we  have all
created just by availing ourselves of their words , their actions , and eventually their demise . Such a cruel way to find out , you weren't really talented in the first place .
                                                       This is what the media do , this is their forte , they rely and depend on the misery of others . Its so so sad that they build you up to such a crescendo , that they pull you down with nothing but a whimper . Such shallow and heartless human beings !
No need to examine or analyze me , I am Well Beyond That !

                                                                    In the huge scheme of things we live our lives in a way that has been somehow mapped out for us .  We wake every day and do the things that are expected to be done by others , but mostly by ourselves . Most of the time we are pleased by our efforts , and sometimes we just let ourselves down . And that's okay too , because we're not as perfect as we would like to be , or as others might expect us to be .
