Start as you Mean to Go ! ( For Sasha & Liam )
As an avid observer and commentator on the institute of marriage , its safe to say that the wedding of the year did not let anybody down . The nerves that you naturally expect were nowhere to be seen . Those nervous looks that you normally encounter , you know the ones , where all are just hoping everything runs smoothly and according to plan were nowhere to be seen . The informality of such a formal occasion was a joy to behold . From the get go no one was made to feel uncomfortable or out of place . The groom was on his best behaviour and the bride was stunningly beautiful .
We knew straight away that all would be good when the registrar introduced us to and welcomed us to the wedding of Sasha and Lisa ? Now unless Liam has had an operation that no one was privy to , a mistake was obviously made straight away . The place erupted in laughter after
which the registrar apologized , but that was the setting for a most wonderful and happy marriage ceremony . The business was gotten down to after that small little hiccup , the beauty of it all was that everyone joined in with such a lovely celebration of marriage .
They were duly given their new titles husband and wife , to which there was a thunderous applause and cheer . They both looked so calm and happy , that if there were any nerves they certainly weren't showing . Photographs were taken , every camera and phone were worn out trying to capture every little moment of magic that there was to be taken . To be honest though every moment they looked at each other was magic in itself .
We all sat down for the meal in the evening . Now here comes the true test of a good wedding . There are two things that need to be good . Firstly the food has to live up to expectations , and secondly the company at your table has to be agreeable . My wife and I struck gold in that department which made for a perfect evening of eating , chatting dancing and drinking . All the toasts were made , all the speeches were delivered perfectly , especially by the bride . As she said herself , and keeping with the tradition of who and what she is , broke with tradition and delivered a speech that was impeccable in meaning as she said " Start as You Mean To Go " , and Knowing Sasha that will never change . Lisa , oh sorry Liam just laughed and was no more surprised by her outpouring of how this game is going to be played , that he just sat there and applauded her honesty .
In conclusion these two wonderful friends and now spouses , will have no problem in being happy . You see they already are , with no effort , they get through their days effortlessly . This is who they are , and people who surround them as friends can only feel joy at their official union of marriage . They will be faithful to their children and themselves , and that's all anyone can ask for . So I will wish them both sincerely all the best for the future , and will ask them both to be patient with each other . They have now entered a unique chapter in their lives , a chapter that will be forever called The Conlan Family !
