Being Special !

                                                        What is it about Sunday , especially if you are lucky to have the sun shining and some of your family around you ? There's four of your grandchildren , your daughter , your son in law , and never forgetting your wife . You make something simple for all , some roast chicken , some pizza , and a few other bits and pieces . To lessen the washing up , as we all know is a pain in the ass , and particularly if there has been a number of people present , the good old cardboard plates were the order of the day . I mean the kids don't mind as long as there's something on the plate , so rejection of the Sunday dishes was never going to be a problem .
                                                       You listen to them all chattering about this and that , and you watch them fill themselves as if there's no tomorrow . Where they put it I'll never know , but there's very little left at the end of the feast .
                                                       Now regardless of how other things are , this is really  what life is all about . Its about having people who really want to be with you and eat with you . Its about celebrating your own children as well as your grandchildren . Its about never losing sight of whats really important , and treating the unimportant , be they upsetting ,  with the disdain they deserve . Because as I have found out personally , there are

only a few things that matter in your life , and they are a healthy mind , a happy family , and the ability to walk in someone else's shoes . Because as we all know , there but for the grace of whoever go I .
                                                     So while you might have the urge to ponder about what you haven't got , take a little more time and think about what you have . If the things you haven't got were meant for you , well you're not going anywhere , and there's always time for those things to happen .Sometimes we fail to grasp what's real in our lives , some times we also fail to appreciate what and who we have , and that is not a mistake you want to make .
                                                    Taking all of what I have written into account , there is only one way of concluding , and that is by saying we all do the best that we can , and that's all that can be asked of us . But sometimes your best with regard to others will never be enough . When you can look yourself full in the face and say , I have done my best and can do no more , you have fulfilled your promise that you took when you entered this life , when you said to yourself . I am me , this is who I am , I will not be made to feel a lesser person because of others . Because you are wonderful , and because you are so very special .
                                                      
No need to examine or analyze me , I am Well Beyond That !

                                                                    In the huge scheme of things we live our lives in a way that has been somehow mapped out for us .  We wake every day and do the things that are expected to be done by others , but mostly by ourselves . Most of the time we are pleased by our efforts , and sometimes we just let ourselves down .
