One Man's Dog , Is Another Man's Nightmare !

                                                                         I love dogs ! I love puppies ! Now I don't know if many of you out there have decided to share your lifetime in the company of dogs , but my wife and I have always been of the opinion that a house is not a home without the company of a dog .
                                                                        Its a very easy decision to make as a couple , whether you are going to have a dog or not . If one of you just can't stand dogs , then there really is no point in having one . The poor dog will never understand why you are so cold to the animal , but in your mind its just, dogs don't do it for you . And that's ok , not everyone has that calling . But if you're going to have a dog make sure both of you are on the same page , simple really .

                                                                        That brings me quickly to the reason for this piece . This evening a friend of ours 6 year old daughter was bitten on the back of her legs by a neighbour's Bull Mastiff , fully grown I need add . Firstly it started head butting her , and then proceeded to bite her , without provocation . Now the circumstances don't really matter , when it comes to a dog biting a child , there is no excuse on whether how small the bite or scratch was . The dog was wrong , its owner was wrong ! The dog wasn't muzzled , that's the first point , and you don't expose children on a green to that sort of danger with the likes of a dog that size . Now I have to add that this isn't the first time this person's dogs have been in trouble , and unless something is done it won't be the last . Apologies and sending the child boxes of chocolates will never excuse the actions of one untrustworthy dog
in my opinion . That person has very simply got to take responsibility for the dogs actions . And do something to make sure this sort of incident will never happen again . This particular child was lucky , next time maybe someone else's child will not be so lucky . One person's Mastiff baby , can be another person's reason for losing a life !
No need to examine or analyze me , I am Well Beyond That !
