America Have you Learnt Nothing ? ( The Blood of Innocents )
Eric Harris , Dylan Klebold , Jeffrey Weise , Seung-Hui Cho , Steven Kazmierczak , if I was to ask you do you remember any of these names , and what they are famous for , what would your answer be ? Would you have the faintest of ideas who these people actually are ? What they did and became famous for ? Well I wouldn't be too surprised if the majority of you would say , haven't got an iota . Never heard of them , so tell me , how are they famous ?
If I mentioned Columbine Colorado , Red Lake Minnesota , Blacksburg Virginia ,Sandy Hook or DeKalb Illinois , would that rattle your memories ? Well if it doesn't , it should . These were all places of education and supposed safety , where a student or an ex student walked in to a school in a premeditated way and slaughtered their fellow students .Without a thought for what was right and true they murdered their fellow students who at one time or another sat next to them .
Shootings in American schools are well documented . You can go back to the 1850's and find that this is not some new form of protest or action . Its been going on under the very noses of people who are supposed to protect your children when in school . But for hundreds of years the American families who have lost children as a result of this slaughter , have been let down continuously by their Government and more specifically their acceptance of draconian gun laws .
Lets go back to the 29th of December 1890 , to a place called Wounded Knee , where approximately 290 mostly women and children of school going age , were slaughtered on the Pine Ridge Reservation by government troops . Thirty three of these troops died from friendly fire , and 20 medals of honour were awarded and presented to surviving soldiers . These troops were congratulated and received medals for the SLAUGHTER of The Lakota Tribe .
I present to you all of these facts , simply because I find it my duty to pass it on , and bring to your attention what successive American Governments are capable of . You won't hear much about this massacre in your schoolbooks . The Native American population have never received an apology for this GENOCIDE of their people , and they probably never will . But the more I delve into American history , the more sickened I am by their COWBOY politics and their COWBOY manner of dealing with the real history of what they did to make These United States Of America what it is today .They slaughtered whole tribes of Native Americans , they robbed them of their lands , and they call themselves civilised ?
