Lessons Learnt ! Part 1

                                                            No matter what country you talk about in conversation , one of the things that we all have in common in our history is revolution . Some countries started as independent republics never having to register this officially , simply because they were never conquered , they were never visited by a foreign invader , they simply existed with their tribes and their own native history .There was never any need for government , only the type that would appear from village to village , town to town . They simply and quite successfully controlled their crops , their output and their own basic destiny .
                                                           But then there came the greed and the conquerers , and whole civilisations were wiped out in the name of a British King , a Spanish King , a French King . In the name of our Roman Gods called Caesars and so on . History has told us who these vile and savage people actually were . They were countries hungry for gold , hungry for silver , hungry basically for anything that wasn't theirs in the first place , and claimed it as their own . This sort of savagery has been written about throughout our short time on this planet , and to say that we have let our planet and our existence down would be a gross misuse of those terms .
                                                          Wherever these conquerers were , war famine and poverty followed , they left millions of people dead on the grasslands of the countries they invaded . No mercy was given , families were slaughtered , and generation after generation were wiped out , and their names never to be heard of again .
                                                         You would think that because we have come forward hundreds of years , lessons would have been learnt , and proper understanding would be the order of the day . Lessons certainly were learnt , the lessons you learn from being an oppressor , and how to cultivate that lesson . And certainly never was it learnt to be used in a positive way , quite the opposite .
