Considering the Feelings and Needs of Others This Christmas !

Happy Christmas !
Man it's really hard to believe that it was twelve months ago when I wrote a blog wishing one and all a very happy Christmas . Doesn't time really fly when you're trying to have a little bit of fun ? The new year passed as it always does with so many resolutions unfulfilled . I know , we all tried our best , but we really weren't made to voluntarily deny ourselves some of the rather luscious things in life were we ? Life's too short to cut ourselves off at the knee , so that we have to stumble along instead of gracefully dancing our way into a brand new year . And yes it's so very hard to ignore those less fortunate , but we were born to just do what we have to do .
We lost so many of our favourite artists and singers this year . It was a particularly sad year , losing David Bowie , Prince , and just today Rick Parfitt passed away . Man there will be some jamming going on wherever they have all landed . Would be nice to be an uninvited guest to something like that wouldn't it ? I really don't think anyone would mind , sure they all loved an appreciative audience .
Many of us have lost friends , and many have lost family . In times like this it's particularly hard for the partners , wives and husbands . They probably feel they will never be the same again . They won't ever be the same again ! But with good friends and family to perk you up when you are feeling a bit down , that lonely journey can be made a little easier .
Catherine & I lost a very dear friend in John Donnelly . He had this great capacity to both make you smile , and at times  infuriate you . But you see , this is what we loved about him . He was one very special individual . And I am sure he won't mind me saying , that it was a true privilege to have met him and even more importantly to befriend him . R.I.P John , I hope you're rocking around that Celestial Tree in the sky .
Its been a rough year all round for many . Things as they say have been tough all over . The homeless in Ireland are getting a very  huge mention here , for all of the abuse and neglect they are having to endure . Whats worse is that our elected representatives don't seem to have it in their character to be even remotely concerned . They are as always just worried about G.D.P and how the books should balance at the end of the year . Where has their humanity gone ? As they collectively sit down to their Christmas dinners tomorrow , if Karma was at all speedy with regard to them , it wouldn't be unfortunate for them all to suffer a little humble pie , and maybe a little time trying to ward away the effects of a severe dose of Salmonella . Nothing undeserved , what do you think ?
I will finish off my Christmas blog , by wishing my lovely wife a Peaceful and Happy Christmas . I am not an easy person to live with , but man she makes it look so easy . I want to wish the rest of my direct family a very happy Christmas too . To my friends and people who continue to support me and put up with my whimsical views at times , thank you for your patience and happy Christmas to you all too .
May the Peace and purity we were all born with , keep you all warm and happy this Christmas . May we all learn to consider the feelings and needs of others , as importantly as our own . And may your Christmas Dinner be the best you've ever had !
Hugs & Kisses as Always XOXOX
