You and your Perfect Life !
As we waddle and trudge through our sometimes unhappy existence , let us all take stock of exactly what we are unhappy about . Is it the television that has just broken down ? Is it the trousers and shirt that have shrunk in your wardrobe ? Could it be the children continuously coming home from school telling you that this needs to be paid for or that needs to be paid for ?
Is it possibly your inability to see things from a different perspective that makes you want to scream when somebody else offers their opinion ? Is it even that loan you took out so many years ago that simply won't go away , no matter how much you try to rein in your spending ? Oh I know what it must be !
It has to be that bastard of a husband or wife who just doesn't appreciate or understand the difficulties in your life alone , that no one else is experiencing . That must be it . I has to be . I mean take a look at your surroundings , you have the 2.4 children that you have always dreamed about that are completely happy and thriving . You have the house that you've always wanted . That 50 inch television you have in your sitting room is looked at more than your husbands or wife's face throughout the evening . And you probably no longer have anything to talk to each other about anyway , so I suppose flicking through the stations as you know you do , probably to wind her up is a habit that is too good to give up .
Considering all of these points , you probably think your lives are a mess . We don't communicate anymore , and when we go out with company , nine times out of ten we argue with each other for the stupidest of reasons . Sound familiar ?
Time to admit somethings wrong . Time to face the fact that there is no going back from this , is there ?
Are you for fu..... real ? Taking all of your circumstances into account , you probably have the perfect life , except for both of your application to that life . You will always blame each other , that's normal . But the point is what are your aspirations ? What is it that is driving you both batty ? Is it your want for more , even though you know you are quite comfortable , and definitely not on the breadline . That's the terrible thing about us humans , we are never quite happy with what we have . We always want more . But get this , more is not going to make you happy . More isn't going to repair the damage you have both caused as a result of your inability to take on board somebody else's thoughts and opinions . Maybe more is the reason for your present predicament ?
But before you start complaining about being in a breathless existence , think of the person who is drawing their last one , and learn to appreciate what you have , and not what you haven't !
