Living in the Land of Self Importance !

                                                                    What is it about us humans , that whenever someone has a great idea , someone wants to knock them down ? What sort of miserable bastards can be so full of jealousy and envy , that rather than see someone achieve something worthwhile they would rather see them fail ? And to be honest it doesn't have to be anything substantial that they achieve , but rather than wishing them well , a lot of people would simply make little of their achievement .
                                                                    We have all witnessed a little of what I am touching upon here , and rather than confront and challenge the individual in question , we would rather just put it down to bad manners or something similar . That sort of positioning will just have to change , its bad enough someone being bad mannered and downright nasty , without having to sit next to these people , enduring their spiteful claptrap .
                                                                   Humanity needs some sort of new set of values . It needs the courage of its

silent convictions . It needs to put out some sort of message and let people know how fucking horrid they really are . And say in line with what they are thinking , that its just not acceptable any more . For too long now , we have had to go along with what society tells us to do . Take for instance bullying . Take for instance standing in line somewhere and being pushed by some genuinely rude individual . Take for instance , a boss who makes rude remarks at your expense . Its time to call a halt to all forms of disrespect . Be it at home , on holiday , in work , it really doesn't matter where . We need to regain the ability to say how we actually feel about something , without having to make excuses for someone's behaviour .
                                                                  As you can see , today I am on a little bit of a crusade . Affected by the behaviour of others . It really doesn't take much for me to go off on one . But as you see people for what they truly are , and how they behave , you get a sense of either a friendship or some sort of relationship coming to an end . I have never made that mistake myself , if I recall honestly and accurately . I just wouldn't dare put up with that sort of thing . And as I have found in life , especially among friends I have made over the years , not everyone likes or respects an honest opinion . They would rather go around under the misapprehension that they are nice people . They would rather get stuck into your good feelings , and make them somehow stretched . You see these people drain you . And do you know what's worse ? We all make excuses for them , letting them think that their behaviour is in some way acceptable .
                                                                 Let them know it is not acceptable . Let them know they are not as popular as they think they are . But more importantly , let them know that the influence they at one time had over you , has quite simply vanished . Leaving them to dwell in the land of Self Importance !
