Grab That Chance ! ( Make it your Own )

                                                                     Sometimes things that we expect to last all sorts of pressures and upheaval , simply don't . Sometimes people and situations we place all of our trust in , simply disappoint us and let us down . It's not because of anything you can put your finger on easily , a lot of the time it was coming , and for whatever reason you either chose to ignore it , or you thought optimistically that it would improve . Some things can improve , but only if there is enough will and strength to help it improve . But when that effort is lacking for whatever reason , you may as well be pissin against the wind . Simply put it probably was not meant to get better , and fortunately , at times affords you the benefit of possibly being able to start afresh . This is the optimistic way to deal with such disappointment .
                                                                   You can of course go the other way and blame everyone including yourself for how things turned out . You'll see hints all over the place that will point you in that direction , but that  most always turns out to be the wrong path to follow .
                                                                  We all hope when starting out that things will be as we expected them to be . We all hope we have the trappings that make for a peaceful comfortable life . And that sort of approach is to be respected and to be applauded , but if things go tits up , whats the point in crucifying yourself with guilt and the ideas that maybe we just didn't try hard enough . When something has run its course , it is difficult to acknowledge the truth that is staring you in the face . No point in pursuing something that has long passed its sell by date .
                                                                  Yes you will look back at possible missed opportunities , and at something maybe you could have changed , but in all honesty , it would never have been enough anyway . When you lose faith in someone or something that should have protected and cared for you , no matter what the circumstance , nothing will ever replace the loss of that when you realise it is no longer there . For me that is what binds people and situations together . Reliability , the art of being sympathetic , the skill of being able to comfort and calm when required . Theses are the things needed in any partnership , if it is going to thrive and survive . Without them ............................
                                                                 So when you start hating yourself for something that didn't quite make it . Look around at the positives it did create , such as children , and all of the fond memories that goes with that . Its easy to lie down and give up . No the true test of your character is looking in the mirror and recognising the someone who had been missing for a while , and telling that someone to get up off their ass , that they have been granted a second bite of the cherry . We don't all get second chances , Grab that chance and make it your own !

No need to examine or analyze me , I am Well Beyond That !

                                                                    In the huge scheme of things we live our lives in a way that has been somehow mapped out for us .  We wake every day and do the things that are expected to be done by others , but mostly by ourselves . Most of the time we are pleased by our efforts , and sometimes we just let ourselves down . And that's okay too , because we're not as perfect as we would like to be , or as others might expect us to be .
