                                                               Are you one of those people who buys into fashion and its trends ? Are you one of those people who wait for the Autumn/Summer collection ? Are you influenced by celebrity fashion , so much so everything you look for in a garment has to be already out there and fashionable ? Or are you just of the opinion , if it looks good I'll wear it , no matter what year it was presented to the world ?                                                               It saddens me to say though , looking at the way people wear their clothes , imagination is certainly not one of their best attributes . I know we are just coming out of the winter , and when its cold you hardly want to take your clothes off and change at all .                                                           So now we have demonstrations in Frankfurt , the Financial capital of Germany . The banner reads Capitalism Kills , and we all know about that . What do the politicians expect ? Do they expect people to sit down like obedient dogs and take the flack for their inability to control mindless greedy bankers and the like ? Do they think for one minute they are in control ? Do they think this rising up by the masses is going to go away ? I don't think so .                                                          There we all are sitting in our homes worrying about what's going to happen next . We wait so we can pay our bills at the end of each week . We worry if we are going to have enough just to exist over the coming days and weeks . You get your bank statement and credit card bills through the letter box , and you know immediately what they are . You start worrying again , its a vicious cycle of worry and need .          

                                                             Talking to oneself can be a real waste of time , particularly if you don't listen to yourself . For such a relationship to work there has to be agreement about a certain set of rules ., and that is that any conversation taking place can never be shared outside of our private circle . That kinda goes without saying , don't you think ? No point in having a seriously important and secretive conversation with yourself , only to be completely unfaithful to yourself by sharing !                                                             There are rules and regulations that have to be abided by , even when you are at your most vulnerable and the temptation to blabber is at its highest , you just have to bite your tongue and think about all the serious consequences .                                                             Isn't it nice though to have such a friend as yourself ? You will never be late for a meeting

                                                       Tomorrow if you didn't know already is Saint Patrick's day here in Ireland . He is our Patron Saint if that is something that comes easy to you . He will be remembered by all and sundry , from Dublin to Cork , Belfast to Galway , New York to Chicago , in fact anywhere an Irish man or woman resides or has resided . You see we believe in sharing the joy of Saint Patrick's day , its a day of leisure , a day that everything including sausages are dyed green for the occasion . Rivers are dyed green , and the famous pint of Guinness has been known to be green . Its a kinda incredible hulk sort of day , so I think you get it , everything will be green !                                                       Unlike the likes of the U.S and Great Britain , our representatives promote Irish everything , from bacon to beef , cabbage to butter .                                                      You rattle your brain , and try to make sense out of things . People's sometimes inability to listen and look upon themselves as just another ordinary person like the rest of us . They never take time to watch and learn from good or bad experiences in life . Its a narrow mindedness that is all consuming ! Let me just explain for instance , if you talk or write , someone somewhere will relate to your ramblings . In fact some will get so caught up in your telling of a story that they cannot see the forest for the trees .                                                     When I consider what to write about , sometimes it comes to me easily , and then sometimes its like hitting a brick wall . The other night two of my grandchildren wanted me to tell them a story before they went to bed , and normally there's never a problem .                                                          With all the celebrations for mother's day over , spare a thought for the children in families who mainly by their own hand have distanced themselves from being involved . It could be they've been jealous over something or someone  , you know the way sibling rivalry works ? And in other cases its not quite that simple , you may have step children , you may have lone parents , whose children are neither theirs , or that they just feel alone when their real parent is not present for whatever reason .. These are some of the situations that have arisen with the evolution of family .                                                          What do you do when all there is in your life is the hope for redemption , the hope that some young girl or boy will see that the road they have chosen is the wrong one ? Do you ignore their pain and indifference and cast them out to the wolves of this world ? Or do you try and repair them

                                                           Well mothers, and mammies , and mummies , and whatever else life calls you , I hope your day was a beautiful trip . I hope it made you feel that special quality that only children can bestow upon a worthy mother . I also hope that maybe some of you children who had not got the readies , did not make it a reason to be absent .                                                            I don't know what it is about women , but even if a gift or a bunch of flowers is absent , if you didn't bring that all important CARD , well you haven't been listening , have you ? You haven't been thinking solidly again , because they will forgive anything , but forgetting that card , well all I'll say is its unforgivable !
