The Place Where Scripts are Unimportant ! 1st Published May 2015 !

                                                             From a personal stand point , I am finding it increasingly difficult to trust what's happening around us . Its getting more cumbersome to just pass your day in peaceful reflection . The more you try and relax the more your mind tells you to do something else and its not always that important . There must be a guilt button inside of us that tells us when we either start to slow down or try to chill a little that we should be doing something more productive .
                                                            Like productive in whose opinion ? Like productive in what way ? These are the things we keep telling ourselves , and believe me its not very healthy . So ask yourselves this , how can we stop feeling guilty about doing things that we enjoy ? How can we fill our waking hours with less of the guilt , and more of the other ? Well I have devised this ritual whereby all ideas and thoughts of a negative nature , are just ignored and sent to a place that never needs mentioning .
                                                           I have created this world called Grandparentland , and to enter it you either fortunately or unfortunately have to be a grandparent . Fortunately that you are and unfortunately that you're not . I should have explained about that earlier in the piece , but then I wouldn't have grabbed your attention . I apologize to anyone that might feel excluded as a result , but that's just the way it is . You either are or you're not .
                                                           Now that has just given me a very good idea , you see sometimes doing this blogging thing good ideas appear from nowhere and as a result anything is possible . I have just thought that if someone needs a grandparent , I will just have to try and make that possible . How does Rent a Grandparent sound ? I am sure that someone somewhere would avail of such a service . Now that's something I will have to consider seriously ok ?
                                                          Grandparentland is a place of quiet , of course until the grandchildren arrive . Its also a very exclusive club . You must , repeat must have the time to entertain and bewilder those grandchildren that need your full attention . Anything less would be understood to be a failing on their part . And from experience failing those little puppies is sinful and unfair . As a grandparent you have huge responsibilities that have to be assumed , and have to be carried out with great gusto . The script is unimportant , as most days with your grandchildren  are on an ad lib basis . You  simply start with the outline to a plan , and then let it take you wherever it decides to take you . There should never be resistance to the introduction of a little mystery and imagination , in fact I would go so far as to say its a requirement .
                                                          If you can fulfill these duties , while stopping yourself from pissing yourself , well then its a job well done . And at the end of the day when you just sit down and think about the days happenings , you'll never believe or understand what joy , confusion , education , and wonder , that's possible to bring to not just your grand childrens world , but also to your own .
