Be More Like Daniel !

                                                              Daniel went to school today in a dress ! Daniel even decided to wear makeup today simply because he felt like it . He had no hidden agenda , he had no upbringing that would suggest that at some stage in his life he would want to do this . Daniel was not the son of gay parents , and was certainly not predisposed as a child simply acting out . No Daniel was simply bored with being dressed boringly compared to his female friends and schoolmates .He simply looked at himself one day in the full length mirror in his bedroom , and decided something had to change .
                                                              His parents Terence & Grace , never really restricted Daniel to rules with regard to his development . They were of the opinion that Daniel at times liked to play and behave outside of the proverbial bubble he lived in . Never wanting to shock , but always wanting to experiment was Daniels way of expressing himself . And express himself he did , continually .
                                                              Now I suppose , if you were not Daniels parents , and you weren't as patient and as understanding as Terence & Grace , you just might find it a little off putting and possibly unnerving . Why you should feel this way , can only be answered by yourself . Why you would want to hinder Daniels development with rules that would simply detract from his curiosity , and possibly derail his wanting to experiment , only you could answer the why in this particular conundrum . In my opinion I will and would always say " Be More Like Daniel " !
                                                             Daniel with his flamboyance and his kind and lovable disposition , would stand out , obviously . He would probably be the butt of so many jokes and snide remarks . He would certainly be a target for the bullying elements in our unforgivable society . Daniel would be called all sorts of names . But imagine this . Maybe in a more tolerant society , imagine Daniel started a trend . Lets pretend some of his friends and schoolmates decided that Daniel in his Beautiful Dress and his warm and colourful makeup , was someone special to aspire to . That instead of ostracizing young Daniel , they all simply took it upon themselves to dress and behave in a similar way . Now That would be something . And when they had all finished their collective school days , after transforming themselves in somewhat of a  Daniel Likeness ,They all stood outside the school gates with Placards stating " We Fully Support Daniel " ! Be more like Daniel !
                                                           All of the Daniel's out there are special ! They're expressive . They're brave  , they are individuals . They need our support , and certainly not our scorn .
                                      BE MORE LIKE DANIEL !
And Why Not ?

    
No need to examine or analyze me , I am Well Beyond That !
